The Home of The "Late" Great 256th CBCS

The 256th CBCS I knew resided at Camp Murray, Tacoma, WA, in Building 101. However, the 256th at Camp Murray was disbanded in February, 1996, and the Air Traffic Control Squadron (ATCS) at Four Lakes AGS, Cheney, WA, was renamed the 256 CBCS and remissioned to that of the old 256th.
Those members of the original 256th at Camp Murray, i.e., "The 'Late' Great 256th CBCS", who remained in the area continued to keep the memory of the 256th at Camp Murray alive. A web site commenorating "our" 256th was brought to life and several reunions were held to bring the "family" together again. Reunions ceased after 2002 and the web site was taken down in June of 2005.
The graphic to the left was the last front page to greet visitors to the home of "The 'Late' Great 256th CBCS." I am resurecting parts of that site to give me a place to go to remember the great people and times I enjoyed as a member of the 256th CBCS.
